Description

After a nuclear war, the funglings—mutant fungi-human hybrids—form a society within a giant tree stump. Divided into factions, they uphold an annual sacrifice to the ‘devourer,’ a mutant deer unknowingly feeding on their blood. When a young fungling loses his mother to the ritual, he begins to question their world’s dark traditions.
